Tanton Industries are based close to Teesside, England – one of the UK’s major petrochemicals hubs.
Our experience stretches back over 40 years and our personnel have been involved in the management of major capital projects. We have managed the design, procurement, construction, commissioning, start-up of major new build plant – not only in Teesside but throughout the World. Our personnel have international projects experience in Italy, USA, China, Taiwan, Portugal, Spain, Turkey, Russia, Thailand, Indonesia and India.
The company was founded by Stewart Brennan. Stewart is a chartered mechanical engineer and fellow of the IMechE. He gained valuable industry experience in capital projects, turnarounds and process technology sales with companies such as ICI, DuPont, Invista, DuPontSA and Artenius.
Tanton Technology was a company set up in 2009 by Stewart Brennan and Paul Bartlett, both of whom had previously been employees of Artenius UK. Paul retired from Tanton in 2013 in order to complete a circumnavigation in the Clipper Round the World yacht race. Tanton Technology closed in late 2013 making way for Tanton Industries.
